As excited as I am for Season 3
A part of me is still upset Shane’s gone. The best episodes from this season, Bloodletting and 18 Miles out were the ones that focused on Rick and Shane’s relationship, both very different but showing at times how much the other cared for one another. Their fight in 18 Miles Out was ferocious and Shane looking after Rick after Carl was shot was heartbreaking.
And I’m disappointed we won’t see that in Season 3. It’s inevitable Shane was going to go, you can’t have conflict within such a small group and not have someone hurt. I just wish the arc had gone on a little longer.

I am kind of glad he is gone. Hopefully now in S3 in the prison, the characters start coming out, which for me in the books, is when they came out. I hope they fit in as much of the stuff from the books into s3 as they can. The prison is my fav part.
